Fala Chen looks mean: No one dares to ask me take nude photos

Saturday, October 15, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Yesterday Fala Chen attended a jewelry event. She expressed she hasn't received any expensive jewelry from her boyfriend (Sit Sai Hang), but her mother has given her a ring and necklace before. These gifts wasn't dowry though. As for the recent leak of Jessica C. erotic photos? Fala asked: "I haven't seen them, is this true?" Asked if her boyfriend has interest in this area? She expressed he doesn't. It is just in this industry, she is especially sensitive to cameras because she often have to be in front of cameras, so usually she doesn't really like taking photos. She said: "Nowadays with the technology advances, we won't know where pictures will end up, so we have to be extremely careful. I have never asked my boyfriend to take these types of photos of me. Perhaps I give people the feeling that I'm mean, so no one has dared to mention it."

Fala is seen as this year's hot favorite for TV Queen, but looking at the comments on the internet, it seems there is more noise for Ghetto Justice's Myolie Wu than her? Fala expressed it is currently a heated competition and the anniversary is still distant from present time. However, Fala and Myolie have mutual support and a positive competition is a good thing. The more discussion, the more jobs they will have. She personally admires Myolie because earlier they did a concert together (in Malaysia), Fala felt Myolie really put in the heart and effort into everything she does. So, she anticipates to see Myolie in the upcoming Curse of the Royal Harem.

Sheren Tang wants a new partner, bored with Wayne Lai

TV Queen Sheren Tang attended the Watson's Health & Beauty Awards 2011. She reveals she is currently discussing a new series in Mainland and if all goes smoothly, she will be leaving HK in November to start shooting the series. At the time, she won't be able to participate in the TVB Anniversary. She said: "I actually rarely participate in the anniversaries. (Do you feel the TV Industry has recently been a huge mess?) I don't care. I usually place myself in other matters, so I don't think this is related to me. (Did you received a poach call?) I don't know, you need to ask my manager. I'm not just about the money when I work, I also want a good role like Jewels in the Palace. A role that can encourage the youth and people in difficulty. Giving back to the audience is much more meaningful."

Sheren laughed and said a good role does not necessarily have to be with old partner Wayne Lai. She said: "Let's change partners! Leave those earth-shattering love stories for Wayne."

Christine Ng stops media from mentioning Joel Chan again

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB game show What the Face? hosted by Christine Ng and Louis Yuen was recording the final episode last night. The two switched roles, Christine appeared as a man, whereas Louis appeared as a woman. For the final episode, Nat Chan, Kenneth Ma, Bosco Wong, Koni Lui, Nancy Wu and Mandy Lieu were invited as guests to pop the champagne for the celebration.

A few days ago, Joel Chan attended the blessing ceremony of his new series held at TVB City. He expressed he wanted to personally apologize to Christine in person, but he eventually changed his mind and said its not the right time yet. He will settle the issue in private later. Christine didn't give a damn about it: "I just feel the incident is over. I don't want to be talking about this forever. Aside from What the Face ending, I hope this topic ends too. (Joel Chan said you were once upset with him for a month?) Please do not talk about this, I have no comment."

What the Face initially had 15 episodes, but now 3 episodes were added and the show will now end with 18 episodes. Christine said she feels happy and that she will miss the show. She said: "I have always been the 'Queen of Guest', and this is my first time actually hosting a show. Although it was difficult, I am grateful of producer Chin Kwok Wai and Louis Yuen, giving me so much leeway to display myself. I hope there are more hosting opportunities in the future." Christine expressed after this show ends, she will continue working on her Beauty Salon business. She will also be discussing a contract with TVB, which just lacks the details now.

It was rumored because Kenneth Ma wasn't invited to shoot the Triumph in the Skies II sales presentation clip, people suspected he isn't part of the cast. Regarding this, Kenneth said he's unsure, but does not mind at all. He said: "The Sales Presentation has always been done for the advertisers, the cast is unconfirmed. Although TVB hasn't talked to me about TITS2, but I heard I will be participating. Of course I do hope to be part of the cast." Asked when the series will start shooting? He reveals he heard from an informed person that there are still some issues, so probably not too soon.

Wayne Lai & Maggie Cheung stars in TVB 'The Great Eunuch'

Posted by Admin 0 comments
TVB artists and staff are being poached by City Telecom's Ricky Wong. According to sources, TVB's managing director Mark Lee and general manager Stephen Chan takes action through their new plan, where they personally try to persuade and provide professional legal advice in hope the staff will reconsider. Their sincerity has touched the hearts of many TVB old timers.

Also, yesterday each staff had one-on-ones with their department manager, to discuss a 20-50% pay raise. Many of the staff who planned to sign with Ricky Wong decided to stay. Looks like there is a turn around in the poaching crisis! Regarding the 'Stephen-Mark Plan', Ricky Wong declined to comment, and was only willing to say: "Up until now, I don't see anything that is influential."

It was said Stephen Chan personally met with the staff who signed with Ricky Wong. TVB Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs, Tsang Sing Ming, expressed TVB is just trying to provide professional legal advice, he said: "We are just providing professional legal advice and provide the necessary assistance because after all some of our staff did sign a contract with another company. TVB is just providing small legal advice to them. During this period, whether if it's Mr. Stephen Chan or Mr. Mark Lee, have talked to many colleagues of different hierarchy and departments. They have also successfully kept many of the staff, the majority of them planned to stay and do not plan to leave."

Decides to shoot in Hengdian

Also, Ricky Wong is planning on investing great amount of resources and talents in order to produce high quality dramas. It has always been said TVB is unwilling to invest the money in their productions, but this time for War and Beauty 2, TVB plans to shoot in Beijing and for the grand production The Great Eunuch later this year, TVB already planned to shoot in Hengdian in February. Compared to the usual series, this time TVB is investing 40% more resources. Producer Law Wing Kin said frankly Wayne Lai will play The Great Eunuch, while Maggie Cheung will play Empress Dowager Cixi (Chee Hei). The other cast includes heavily promoted Ruco Chan and Raymond Wong, both will play eunuchs.

Wayne praised Maggie Cheung's momentum to be Empress Dowager Cixi: "She is beautiful in costume dramas, very suitable role for her. (Earn more with her as a couple team?) Of course I hope to! We are in on this together." As Maggie's contract with TVB ends later this year, she expressed she will have to wait until her manager finishes the discussions before she decides: "It is a great challenge being Empress Dowager Cixi. I hope we will be able to collaborate." Ruco expressed he is very happy to be able to participate.

Anita Mui’s mother threatens to take her case to Beijing

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Even though it has been 8 years since Hong Kong singer/actress Anita Mui passed away, her mother Mrs. Mui (Tam Mei Kam) continues to voice her unhappiness almost daily over the way Anita’s assets were divided. Earlier, Mrs. Mui accepted an interview with nowTV’s "E+Focus" program. During the interview, Mrs. Mui expressed that for the past 8 years, she has been greatly distressed, claiming that Anita’s close friends have been plotting to frame her ever since her daughter passed away. She also angrily criticized the courts and the lawyers involved with the inheritance case as being incompetent, denying her the right to take back her ‘beloved’ daughter’s assets. Towards repeatedly losing her case in HK courts, Mrs. Mui expressed that she was extremely dissatisfied and even threatened to take her case all the way to Beijing in the hopes that Li Ke Qiang could take care of the matter. Late Anita Mui’s jewelry auctioned off to pay mother’s living expenses, Brother Mui crashes auction and threatens to call the police

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Last week, 43 pieces of jewelry belonging to late Cantopop Queen Anita Mui were auctioned off by the executors of Anita’s estate, bringing in a total of 6 million HKD. During the auction, Anita’s brother Mui Kai Ming unexpectedly showed up at the location and expressed that all of the auction items were Anita’s ‘cherished possessions’ and also threatened to call the police and ‘seek justice’ from those responsible.

Prior to her death from cervical cancer in 2003, Anita Mui had established a trust fund to manage her assets and estate. Last week, the trust fund commissioned a third party company to auction off a collection of Anita’s jewelries and watches on their behalf. Amongst the 43 items auctioned, the item that sold for the highest price was a necklace and earring set that Anita had worn during her 2003 farewell concert – that item alone sold for 1.58 million HKD. In all, the entire collection sold for a cumulative amount of 6.81 million HKD -- the proceeds from the auction will be used by the trust fund to pay the living expenses for Anita’s mother Mrs. Mui (Tam Mei Kam) in accordance with Anita’s will.

During the auction, Anita’s brother Mui Kai Ming, who was once involved in the court battle to seize control of his sister’s assets, suddenly appeared at the location. When asked why he was there, he stated: “I came to see how the auction is going, as I need to answer to the court. I’ve already submitted my papers, tomorrow you guys will find out the details.” Brother Mui went on to blast the trust fund, emphasizing that all of the auction items were Anita’s ‘cherished possessions’ and should not have been auctioned off, but rather given to her fans instead. Also, he claimed that after Anita’s death, a lot of her jewelry and personal possessions all of a sudden ‘went missing’.

Asked who he was planning to sue and for what reason, Brother Mui vaguely responded: “You will find out soon. I’m suing ‘the person responsible’.” He refused to name anyone, however he claimed that he did have a list of a dozen names – all close friends of Anita’s – which he already turned over to the police to look into.

In related news, dozens of Anita’s fans from her official fan club showed up at the auction to support the cause, with many of them even bidding on the items that once belonged to their idol. Altogether, the fan club paid close to 1 million HKD for 10 precious items, with the fan club’s chairwoman Miss So personally bidding 110,000 for one of Anita’s diamond watches. Miss So expressed that on the upcoming anniversary of Anita’s birth (October 10th), the fan club will be holding an event in her memory and will consider displaying the items from the auction at that time so that other fans can share in the memories. She also advised that the fan club is working on building a second school in Guang Xi (China) in Anita’s name and she hopes that in the future, they can continue to build schools for underprivileged children in their idol’s honor.

*****

In court papers filed last week, Mui Kai Ming claimed that the trust fund (and temporary executors of Anita's estate) sold Anita's jewelry and other possessions without permission; he also claimed that the trust fund carelessly auctioned Anita's expensive jewelry and watches for a low price. In his court documents, Mui Kai Ming is requesting that the high court demand the temporary executors of the estate to apologize to all of Anita's fans worldwide and also pay him punitive damages of 1 billion HKD.

Husband and wife Oxide Pang and Lee Sinjie in a murder mystery

Posted by Admin 0 comments

Director Oxide Pang Shun and two lead actresses Angelica Lee Sinjie and Charlie Yeung Choi Nei yesterday attended their new film SLEEP WALKER 3D's press conference. The director admitted that this time the special part was no ghost as the film was purely a murder mystery. This time was already his third collaboration with Sinjie. Sinjie said that the biggest challenge was both were demanding. She even hoped to have a breakthrough. Luckily after everyone communicated she thought that the character still had a lot of potential. With her good friend Choi Nei's support she felt very warm.

This time was Sinjie and Pang Shun's first collaboration after their marriage. Many silver couples did not want to work together to avoid any argument that might affect their relationships, Sinjie said that she liked to work with her husband very much because they both liked films. They could exchange like two good friends. In addition they were highly self aware, when they reached a certain sport they knew to respect each other and would not argue. She also said that after marriage the director although understood her even more but also asked for more from her. He hoped to force her to do something that he has never seen. She
said, "Once I worked until I really wanted to die, but I couldn't cry. Thus when he said OK, I immediately started crying. Yet I was happy because the sense of accomplishment was huge."

As for Choi Nei she said that she never saw them argue on the set. Sinjie also said that although her husband looked relaxed but actually was very demanding. She even broke her past record this time with 27 to 28 bad takes. She said, "My child co-star had no more energy to say her lines. I was very sorry, midway through I had to go out for a breather." They said that they were at ease when they worked with Pang Shun, because they performed poorly he would not let them go. Choi Nei also said that this time she and Sinjie had any real scene together, which she regretted.

In coordination with the film's theme, the event yesterday arranged for a dream interpretation master to interpret the director's dream. Actually the director for over a decade had the same dream, which made him think that after he killed someone he would even hide the corpse in a bag. The master pointed out that he only had a side that he did not want to face. At the same time the two lead actresses drew their dream lover, Choi Nei actually drew a cat.

Jeana Ho works late at a funeral home

The Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) directed HONG KONG GHOST STORIES (MANG GWAI OI CHING GOO SI) had many beauties like Chrissie Chau Sau Na, Stephy Tang Lai Yun, Jeana Ho Pui Yu and others, but everyone had to "die".

In it, Chau Sau Na would appear in a portrait of the deceased, Tang Lai Yun even had to "die tragically". Jeana and Sammy had to play paper dolls. Because paper dolls had no way to show cleavage, the film company arranged for her to play a busty paper doll with a lot of padding to make Jeana's figure "stand out" more. Even Sammy joked that he has never seen such a "3D" paper doll! Because the film shot late at night at a funeral home, it was memorable for Jeana. During the shoot she often had the chill to her heart.

Moses Chan & Aimee Chan teased by colleagues and shows off love

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Moses Chan and Aimee Chan were at the blessing ceremony for their new series Ladder to Heaven. This was a perfect time for the other cast members to tease the couple. The others told Moses and Aimee to "first bow to the heaven and earth". (TN: couples do this in traditional Chinese weddings) Asked if they tease Aimee by calling her "Ah So" or "Mrs. Chan"? They said: "Wasn't called that, but we were prepared to get teased, it's nothing special and we don't mind."

Getting teased by his colleagues, Moses expressed: "As long as they aren't teasing us like how the media does." Aimee smiled and said: "I like your statement." The couple were echoing one another, showing off their love.

Aimee's two series Forensic Heroes III and Super Snoops are currently broadcasting, therefore her exposure rate is doubled. Asked if she's fighting herself? She laughed: "Nope because both characters are different. One is a serious role and the other is a comedic one. In fact, in all my roles, I hope to give viewers a different feel. I will do homework on the styles and work on my vocals."

Aimee is grateful of the opportunities TVB gives her: "I'm happy I have no chance for a vacation because opportunities are hard to come. There was once a person who tried to convince me to go back into design because my personality doesn't suit this industry, but now there are people who acknowledge my acting, I believe my decision was right."

Kate Tsui loses voice, Ron Ng help with her lines

Posted by Admin 0 comments
We are seeing less and less TVB FaDans and in reaction to this, TVB executives have already started promoting the second line of FaDans. Kate Tsui was fortunate to be one of the heavily promoted actresses this year. The year hasn't even ended yet and she has already had 5 series broadcast, her exposure rate is over the top. However, behind the success, Kate's health is getting worse by the day.

Kate has been a police officer 5 times already, this time in new series Forensic Heroes III, she is finally promoted to OCTB's Senior Inspector. Kate laughed and said the crew would shoot on the mountain top so often, there was a time she thought she was shooting a costume drama instead. However, at the time she was shooting two series simultaneously, so on camera she may look hot, but off cameras, she was suffering from illnesses. Kate said: "From the start, I already had a waist injury, the doctor said the disk on my lower backbone was shifting. I didn't even know I had an accident and along with my old injuries, I had to go get acupuncture. It was a very difficult period for me. The makeup room is far from the studio, there was a time I had to crawl my way and with heels on too!"

When her condition on the waist was getting better, she falls ill again and gets a hoarse voice. Since she cannot drag on the filming progress, Kate took her hoarse voice with her and continued to shoot. Fortunately her good partner Ron Ng was willing to help her with her lines. She laughed: "He really is a good buddy. He saw how I had a man voice and getting off tune when I talked, although he did laugh at me, but he still went to discuss with the director about accommodations for me, so I don't have to talk as much. So, viewers out there if you happen to catch this part, please forgive me."

Kate has collaborated with Ron numerous times and off the back they just have too much chemistry. It does not take long for them to complete a scene, but the playful Ron still loves to tease her.

Lau Ching Wan worries about getting fat and losing continuity

Posted by Admin 0 comments
Johnnie To Kei Fung's film LIFE WITHOUT PRINCIPLE (DUET MING GUM) earlier held an advanced screening. The response was overwhelming as the cinema was sold out. Although the director did not appear at the cinema, after the screening the audience applauded for three minutes. It was rare for a Hong Kong screening.

To Kei Fung humbly said that everyone gave "too much face" when he learned about the audience reaction, but he personally liked this film very much as well. In addition he thought that the film displayed the Hong Kong economic bubble 100% as a complete satire. He hoped that this film would be a big hit in Hong Kong. As the audience's praise of Lau Ching Wan's acting, many who have seen the film thought that he absolutely had the potential to win Best Actor. Ching Wan said that he did not think too much about Best Actor. Instead when To Sir asked him to perform he would coordinate fully. At first when he took this film he only knew that he would play a mob figure. To Sir's movies often took a long time to make, thus he worried about his shape the most instead. He was afraid that he would get fatter and lose continuity during the shoot.

Angelababy and Eddie Peng experience love through hand holding

Posted by Admin 0 comments
The Jingle Ma Chor Sing directed, Angelababy Yeung Wing and Eddie Peng Yu-yen starred romance LOVE YOU YOU (HA YUT LOK YAU YAU). Recently lead actor Peng Yu-yen came to Hong Kong to be interviewed with Baby and director Ma Chor Sing. Ma Chor Sing said that this film has been in preparation for over a year. He admitted that at first the biggest problem that he ran into was finding a suitable beach. Many would compare this film's location with the Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai) starred SUMMER HOLIDAY (HA YUT MOR MOR CHA). Ma Chor SIng said, "At first I couldn't start production because I couldn't find a suitable beach, but later very fortunately on the eve of the production start I discovered this location. It truly is heaven's will." Baby also said that for the rain scene, the director originally planned to use a rain machine to create the rain effect but during the shoot real rain came. They were very lucky.

Working with Peng Yu-Yen for the first time, Baby praised that he was a very hard working and humorous actor who constantly cheered up the team. Peng Yu-yen also praised Baby's cheerful personality. They had fun working together. As for his performance, Peng Yu-yen honestly said that at first he was not used to it because the director's rhythm was very fast. Ma Chor Sing was asked about working with Baby. He praised Baby was a rare Hong Kong female star with potential in the next ten years. Her emotional scenes were decent. Peng Yu-yen was a very hard working actor and would also be very successful. Did Baby and Peng Yu-yen have any intimate scene? She said no. This film was very innocent and they only had a hand holding scene. Did she regret that? She said, "It's OK." Ma Chor Sing joked that he would wait until a category III film for an intimate scene. Baby joked, "The director is a very innocent man." Would Peng Yu-yen feel any regret about the lack of intimate scene? He joked that like the director he too was very innocent. He said that his relationship with Baby would not need intimate scene for everyone to sense that feeling.

ATV Files for Bankruptcy Due to Repeated Financial Difficulties

Thursday, October 13, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
In recent years, ATV have often been faced with precarious financial situations. In August 2011, ATV announced a series of big moves through the release of several programs produced in-house. Now, a new turbulence erupted, as ATV filed for bankruptcy yesterday afternoon. ATV’s majority shareholder, Tsai Eng Ming’s subsidiary, Norwares Overseas Inc. applied for ATV’s bankruptcy at the Hong Kong High Court .

In 2008, Taiwanese billionaire, Tsai Eng Ming, Chairman of Want Want Group, injected cash assistance into ATV to become its majority shareholder. Despite this, ATV was rumored to be on the brink of bankruptcy once again in 2010. ATV’s two majority shareholders, Tsai Eng Ming and Payson Cha, had an open war of words last year over the company’s equity issues.

How will the filing of bankruptcy impact ATV? A representative from ATV responded, “Mr. Tsai’s company’s $150 million HKD in convertible bonds and interest were returned last year, while Mr. Tsai applied for a court injunction prohibiting the release of $23 million in convertible bonds of the company. Now, Mr. Tsai used these grounds to withdraw his stake from ATV. For the sake of the overall situation, ATV agreed to let Mr. Tsai redeem this portion of the funds.” According to the interpretation of a legal professional over the matter, under Hong Kong law, shareholders can apply for bankruptcy on the grounds of insolvent funds, regardless of how many shares were held.

Repeated Financial Difficulties

A reader revealed that ATV did not pay outstanding lease amounts on the automobiles used by the ATV news department. If ATV did pay the vehicle lease amounts by the deadline this weekend, the automobiles will be towed away. ATV’s Public Relations department did not respond on the matter. On September 29th, ATV released an internal circular that due to the local typhoon, employees’ monthly paychecks will be postponed from September 30th to October 3rd. An ATV Public Relations spokesman explained that the remittance came from the mainland, thus the issuance of employee paychecks were delayed due to the typhoon occurrence.

In addition, there were rumors that more than a dozen ATV production staff were poached [by another television station]. Yip Ka Boa stated, “In the past, there were also employee departures, however, no one paid attention to the matter. ATV will not take the situation lightly, but will instead strengthen the scriptwriting department. As to whether salaries will be increase in order to retain employees, this will be dependent upon the circumstances. We do not wish to increase salaries simply due to the departure of staff. The company already made annual pay adjustments in the middle of the year.” Asked whether ATV will follow TVB’s issuance of letters to employees warning of the poaching crisis, Yip Ka Bao noted that each company had its own practices. Since the licenses for the three free television broadcasting stations have not been issued yet, ATV will not heed other television stations’ practices.

Amidst Increased Competition, A Bleak Future Ahead for ATV

In the past decade, equity disputes at ATV persisted and coupled with frequent high-level management changes, ATV was at disadvantage in competing with rival, TVB. ATV now faced another heavy crisis ahead. Due to the Hong Kong government’s intention to expand free public television, urban telecommunications, as well as cable broadband, free television licenses were announced in December 2009 to become available.

Currently, Hong Kong had two free television stations, ATV and TVB, along with four fee-based stations. Three new free television broadcasting stations are expected to enter the market in 2012, including Ricky Wong’s City Telecom, Richard Li’s PCCW, as well as I-Cable TV.

The increase in competition in the free television broadcasting market may pose additional financial difficulties for ATV. Associate Professor, Feng Ying Qian at the City University of Hong Kong School of Journalism and Communication, noted, “ATV was different from TVB and Shaw Brothers in the aspect that ATV did not have real estate and other fixed assets.” ATV shareholder, Payson Cha, openly stated that free competition in the television broadcasting industry was a negative development for ATV. Mr. Cha stated, “For the audience, more competition and more choices are good things. However, for ATV, it was very bad.”

Model Jessica C. arrested for stealing HK$600 from an ATM

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

On July 10, 2010 Jessica C. was withdrawing money from an ATM in Tsim Sha Tsui and took the HK$600 left behind by the person before her. The whole incident was captured on the bank's security camera. The day before, Jessica was arrested and charged for 'stealing'. She spent the most terrifying night at home and yesterday she resume work, heading out to Taiwan to shoot a new film. At 6:35am, Jessica stepped out of her residence in Causeway Bay accompanied by her assistant. Wearing sunglasses, Jessica walked out and was welcomed by over 20 reporters surrounding her for interviews. At first she maintained a smile and waved: "Good Morning!" She appeared relaxed and stood still to allow reporters take pictures. Jessica cooperated and said: "I want to talk more too because this is a huge misunderstanding. I am still handling the situation now and hope you all accept my apology. This incident made me really unhappy. (Did you regret it and will you apologize to the victim?) If I upset or hurt anyone, I am willing to apologize. (Are you afraid your reputation might be affected?) You will understand me, thank you all."

When asked about her taking the HK$600 from the ATM machine that the person before her left behind, Jessica had no comment. Her assistant expressed she does not want to discuss this matter, and the two left in a 7-seater van. Reporters took 4 cars to chase after Jessica, then her driver suddenly drove aggressively. Sometimes he drove slowly, sometimes he drove fast. Quite dangerous driving.

At the airport, Jessica got out of the car and walked through the crowd of reporters with the help of her assistant. When reporters tried to interview her again, Jessica became impatient. When asked if her family is worried about her, Jessica started tearing up. She said: "I'm really sorry. I do hope to tell you more, but I really can't. I'm sorry everyone." With a shaky voice, Jessica apologizes again for the 4th time.

Her manager, Christine, reveals Jessica is heading to Taiwan to shoot an action film, but did not reveal who she will be working with. Jessica will return to Hong Kong in November. When asked how Jessica is feeling? Christine said Jessica's emotions still hasn't recovered: "This year, she hasn't been in HK for long, of course she's not feeling well. I think, give her some time to handle the situation. At this point, she has put her emotions behind her and focuses on her work."

Myolie Wu rolls around in wheel chair for Triumph in the Skies II

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

Triumph in the Skies (TITS) was a hit when it broadcasted in 2003. TVB has intentions to shoot a sequel next year with Chilam Cheung, Myolie Wu, Ron Ng, Kate Tsui, Bosco Wong, MC Jin and Miss HK Rebecca Zhu. Yesterday morning, the group arrived at the airport to shoot the Sales Presentation clip.

Part of the original cast, Myolie Wu expressed she has not received the script yet, so she's not sure if it's an actual sequel. Sitting on a wheel chair, Myolie plays a disabled ground crew and was quite familiar with controlling the wheel chair. She even got high and started rolling here and there as if she was dancing, Myolie said: "I've done wheel chair dances before, so I can control the chair. It is a challenge to portary a person with disability because the mentality is different." She expressed she hopes her 'lover' Francis Ng from part 1 could make his comeback, so she can learn more from him. However, she laughed and said she didn't have his phone number. As for rumored boyfriend Bosco Wong didn't appear until 2 hours later, the two were unable to be on location together.

Ron Ng also hopes the original cast could take part in the sequel: "Even with 70-80% of the original cast is good. I want Francis Ng to come back. He's so appealing. As for Flora Chan and Sammul Chan, they may not participate again. (A pity?) Last time, S4 was very successful. I believe this time, the new cast will also create new sparks." Ron and Rebecca were shooting a breakup scene. This is Rebecca's first time shooting a sales presentation, so she was extremely nervous. Even if she only had 1 line to say, she would already be so nervous she couldn't eat.

Also, it was rumored Chilam Cheung would get HK$800,000 per episode for TITS2. Towards this, Chilam laughed: "Not that little! However, I haven't decided to shoot this series yet, look at the script first! (Late work hours though!) Usually, I try my best to avoid it, but if I really accept the series, I won't mind." As for MC Jin, he was dressed as 'Pilot Jin' with the other 'young pilots' William Chak and Daniel Chau . They were excited to shoot their first flight scene.

Posted by lucychoi559 0 comments

TVB new series Forensic Heroes III premiered last night. The average premiere rating was 34 points and peaked at 35 points. For now, FH3 is the leader of the highest rated premiere in 2011. TVB is holding a celebration today to boost the momentum.

Lead actor Wayne Lai learned of FH3's high premiere rating and felt very happy. He believes the ratings will continue to rise, and may have a chance to reach 37 points on average. Wayne expressed if the average rating is 35 points, he will treat everyone for a meal. Earlier Wayne only had 50% confidence to get TV King depending on FH3. Asked if he has 90% confidence now? Wayne laughed: "Nope! About 80% confidence."

FH3 producer Miu Siu Ching said she felt surprised that FH3 is this year's leader of highest premiere rating. She had confidence for the series to lead with a "3" (30+ PTS), but didn't expect it to reach that hight of 35 points. She felt it's amazing and thanked audience for all the support. Miu Siu Ching is the producer for the Forensic Heroes trilogy and expressed FH3 is the highest rated among the three. Compared to the production a few years ago, this time the series was able to incorporate high tech equipment. She said Kate Tsui used real Kung Fu to do her fighting scenes and didn't use a stunts double. Earlier it was rumored she and her husband (Producer Lau Ka Ho) were planning to leave TVB to develop in China? She expressed she is currently busy with Prosperous Father and will focus on completing the production before considering other matters.

Maggie Cheung reacts to Netizen's Tablet computer complaints

Also, Netizens have been comparing Wayne's FH3 with Bobby Au-Yeung's FH1 and FH2. There are also criticisms that the heavy use of Tablet PCs are overwhelming on the eyes. Lead actress Maggie Cheung saw the comments and replied on Weibo: "Tablets are used for work, why the big reaction? I thought for a long time, its baffling. What is the difference between a tablet PC and a laptop? This is very common in today's world. Don't tell me you are all still living in the stone age? Or perhaps still pursuing the 80s TV series"

Mavis Pan to Raymond Lam: “Don’t Pretend to Be Innocent!”

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 Posted by Admin 0 comments
Since Raymond Lam’s (林峯) bed photos with busty ex-girlfriend, Mavis Pan (潘霜霜), were leaked in March 2011, followed by his old friend from Xiamen, Angel Fong (芳芳), offering an online tour of his house, Raymond’s image plummeted. In a recent interview, Raymond revealed that Mavis broke his heart in their former relationship.

Mavis countered in a blog message, “Do not pretend to be innocent and say that you were ‘heartbroken.’ Look at the extent that you hurt others (and in mercilessly manner too). Let’s interfere with each other, okay?” Although she did not scold Raymond directly in her message, it was obvious that she blasted her ex-love in pretending to act innocent.

Asked by the reporter from Apple Daily regarding Raymond Lam bringing up their old romance in a recent interview, Mavis said angrily, “It’s disgusting; this will be the death of me! It makes me wonder what he is up to? Do not disturb me; it is not a good idea. I will certainly speak up!

Over the past few months, Mavis sealed her lips and refused to speak about Raymond Lam, choosing instead to heal her love wounds by focusing on work. Unexpectedly, Raymond spoke about their old romance in a recent interview again. Mavis stated, “I do not wish my name to be attached with his name. I do not want there to be any ties at all.” Mavis explained that she never used Raymond to promote herself, “He never helped me with any matters.” Asked about her current love life, Mavis said with reservation, “Let things run their natural course; I do not wish to discuss too much about the matter.”

“Devil” Raymond Lam Boosts “Men With No Shadows” Finale Ratings to 36 Points

Posted by Admin 0 comments
In TVB series, Men With No Shadows "不速之約", Raymond Lam (林峰) received good reaction towards his devil role. Last week’s ratings averaged 29 points, while last Friday’s 2-hour finale averaged 32 points, peaking at 36 points, with approximately 2.3 million viewers tuning in to watch.

Despite the good ratings, the Hong Kong Broadcasting Authority received several complaints from the audience regarding Men With No Shadows, citing a suicidal scene involving the jumping from a building and argument scenes which may have negative impacts upon children.

In its first week of broadcast, Liza Wang’s (汪明荃) Super Snoops "荃加福祿壽" averaged ratings of 28 points, with approximately 1.79 million viewers who watched the series. This marked a decline of one rating point in comparison to River of Wine "九江十二坊", which was broadcast in the same time slot last week.

In addition, several audience complaints were filed against Shirley Yeung’s (楊思琦) variety program, Paw Love "寵愛有家". The audience found the scene in which roaches, lizards, and white mice were fed to a snake to be unsettling.

TVB’s 45th Anniversary Lighting Ceremony, which was broadcast last Monday, received 27 points in ratings, with approximately 1.7 million viewers watching the program. Although there were a lack of popular celebrities at the lighting ceremony, the ratings were quite good.

Ada Choi to bring her daughter with her to filming of War and Beauty 2

Yesterday Sheren Tang, Moses Chan and Ada Choi were shooting the War and Beauty 2 (WAE2) Sales Presentation clip. Ultimately, the original cast Bowie Lam, Charmaine Sheh and Gigi Lai weren't able to participate. Ada Choi is newly added to the cast.

I already had a contract before I had my daughter, I will not ask TVB for more work because of the poaching!" Ada reveals she still signed a contract for 3 series before she had her daughter, since WAE2 is 40 episodes, it is like she already 2 series.

Asked if its because Rosy Business 3 (RB3) was aborted that she agreed to shoot WAE2? Sheren expressed Producer Lee Tim Shing for RB3 hasn't contacted her, the writer Cheung Wah Bui hasn't returned. She just knows producer Jonathan Chik invited her to WAE2.

Moses Chan was unsure if he's going to be continuing his role from the last series, but he still hopes for the chance to bring the original cast back. Asked if he feels pressured to be in a grand production? He expressed the more artists participating in the series, audience will enjoy it more. When speaking of new series Forensic Heroes III, his girlfriend Aimee Chan will have a bra-revealing scene?
