McDonalds World's Children Day Teddy Bear Bear activity was held at Causeway Bay yesterday, Andy Lau was invited as he brought along Andox and Blackie with him.

Andy also personally introduce the teddy bear bear that he designed.

Andy's shirt has an image of Andox, he express that the shirt is a present from a shirt designer friend, there is only one shirt.

Andy quipped that Andox and Blackie are more popular than him, he would like them to be his spokesmen because he need to appear serious when attending activities, thus he must behave himself.

When reporters tried to interview them, Andy immediately used the incident of "Joseph Lau Luen-hung being hit by the microphone", he said: "Can! But please don't hit them with the sign on the microphone."

Everyone burst into laughters. Andy exclaimed that he was hit on the head by the microphone sign too, bue he didn't lose his anger as non-agitated questions were asked.

This year Hong Kong have created a new band called Square which have 4 members. They include James, Rex, Gary and Brian. Their debut ep (Searching覓) has already received a good response. It seems that the [S4] will have a great career ahead.

The 4 members are from the modelling industry and all 6'ft. Their Manager Lam Siu Ming (Elanne Kong's company) signed them up and arranged for them to secretly train. They claimed that taking the pictures for the ep cover was a lot of hard work but felt satisfied. They said that the debut ep was like a journey such as a woman giving birth because they were all nervous and extremely excited about it. Gary said because the group is called Square, it represents the 4 of them as one. "A Square has four equal sides and represents us as one It cannot lack one of us".

Yesterday Hotcha promoted their new album at Metro radio. Their record company had prepared to release 3 different covers for the new album which made the 3 of them very touched. But they didn't dare to ask the company how much was invested into it, they will just do their duties.

The reporter asked if Hotcha were worried they couldn't earn back what was invested? "We aren't worried of not earning it back, we have confidence. Dicky Cheung's had worked extremely hard for his performance in the new movie (Duo Biao). Not only did he not mind getting injured but he also got hurt in his private part area. Director Tsui Siu Ming specifically used alot of time to create this fighting scene and wanted the outcome to look real. The scene involved Xu Xiang Dong and Dicky Cheung fighting each other. Xu Xiang Dong was arranged to use the Eagle Claw attack on Dicky's private parts, but he accidently attacked him for real. Dicky laughed and said "Although I have filmed many martial art productions but this is the first time I have been attacked by an enemy in the private parts area, the feeling felt awkward and I became red in the face. Filming these scenes and getting attacked in that area, I couldn't resist but yell out loud. Later Xu Xiang Dong apologised to me. After resting, there was no serious injury so I was able to relax".

Joey Yung and Kay Tse are both hot favouritest this year to win the (Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation 2008 Best Female Singer Gold Award). But both of them said they didn't have much confidence in receiving the big award. Joey said if this years results are not better than last year, she will start to prepare for next year and encourage herself not to be too upset. Yesterday Joey wore 7 inch heels to attend the press conference. While being interviewed she nearly twisted her ankle. She said she was most fond of wearing high heels. Director Chen Kaige's much-anticipated blockbuster 'Mei Lanfang' finished post-production in Tokyo on Monday. Scenes involving controversial actress Gillian Chung were removed. The actress withdrew from the project at short notice following her involvement in an explicit photo scandal earlier this year.

Sina.com quoted the film's producer China Film Group as saying on Monday that Hong Kong actress and singer Gillian Chung's performance as Mei Lanfang's wife, Fu Zhifang, were cut. Director Chen expressed his regret over the decision and said he appreciated the effort Chung had put during filming.

The star-studded film featuring Chinese mainland actress Zhang Ziyi and Hong Kong singer-actor Leon Lai has been under the spotlight since shooting started. There was public speculation whether Chung's scenes would be withdrawn after the naked photo scandal came to light.

The task of eliminating Chung's scenes from the production was said to be incredibly difficult. The director is reported to have used computer techniques during the scenes of Mei Lanfang's wife, Fu Zhifang, played by mainland actress Chen Hong, to capture her development over time.

The article adds that director Chen said Chung had presented her acting talent and professional ethic during filming. He hoped people would focus on the film itself and show understanding for the actress.

It is not known yet whether the deleted scenes will be available in the film's DVD version.

Reportedly, family members of the late master Mei Lanfang had expressed their dissatisfaction with Chung's presence in the film in the wake of the scandal and massive public backlash.

The film's first trailer, which is 2-minute long, will be screened at midnight on November 5, when another anticipated hit, the latest in the James Bond series, 007: Quantum of Solace, kicks off nationwide.

The biopic about the late Peking Opera master Mei Lanfang is due out on December 12 this year.

Last week all three TVB series index rating have dropped. "Off Pedder" has dropped one point, the other two haven't done well either. "When Easterly Showers Fall On The Sunny West" started last week, the average index was only 26. Compared with the final episeode of "The Four", it has dropped 3 points. It is the second week airing for "The Gem Of Life" and it has gonre down 3 points too, averaging 28. They have lost nearly 190,000 viewers.

On the other hand, rating for "The Super Trio Supreme" on sunday night had gone up two points to 31 and "TVB Anniversary celebration " has an index rating of 25 points, up by 9 points compared with last weeks "X-Men 2".
