Jackie awarded honaray professorship from Savannah College

Jackie Chan was awarded an honorary professorship from America's Savannah College of Art and Design.Yesterday he attended the conferment ceremony held in Tsim Sha Tsui. He also received a sketch from Dr. Chan Lai Wah' . Jackie's 16 龍的傳人 displayed kung fu and performed singing. Three of the outstanding students received schlaoship for further studies in Savannah College.Jackie told reporter he wants to promote the next generation of 龍的傳人. He planned to direct a 30 episodes TV series called "New Shaolin Temple" in October. He will be diecting it it personally. His son Jaysee will not be in the cast. He explained "We see things differenly, we develop our work differently. Our ideas are different. He can develop his career himself, I will only support peole who listen."
